David Tan is Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of CHIPS Technology Group LLC (CHIPS). David is responsible for all IT decisions and technical direction for CHIPS.

David has always been a hands-on technologist whose proficiencies in multiple disciplines range from network infrastructure design and security to application development. David holds multiple industry certifications, including the highly regarded Symantec Security SCSE.

As a noted speaker and frequent contributor to industry periodicals, David has delivered speeches on information security to the local business community and has contributed byline articles for the Long Island Business News and the Wall Street Technology Review.

David earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan.
